Chasing Ice with James Balog

James Balog’s film, Chasing Ice, he enticed me to watch and pay further attention to his purpose in taking multiple pictures of the landscape for more than a two year span. It is amazing with the amount of patience and money that was invested to his project. I believe that his work will be much more memorable and meaningful because the dramatic changes shown in the pictures reveals the reality of the changes in the landscape in response to global warming.

His dedication in making creating this documentary is extraordinary because he went beyond the limitation of his body in order to get the most amazingly, dangerous photos of the ice.

I am inspired to visit these landscapes before they deteriorate any further. There is such great beauty in the natural disaster of this Earth.
